Pregnancy Services

First Trimester

It is our desire to have our initial appointment with you during the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy. At your first visit, your medical history will be taken and a physical exam will be completed. A pap smear, screening lab work and an ultrasound will be performed to confirm your due date. We will check your progesterone levels if necessary and initiate therapy with progesterone and baby aspirin if needed to help maintain your pregnancy. We welcome any input you have so that your personal needs are met. At AWH your questions and needs are very important to us so never hesitate to make a list of your concerns and present them to us at your prenatal visits.
